Tottenham have been dealt another injury blow as Luke Amos has been ruled out for the entire season after damaging his knee ligaments, as per the Evening Standard.

The 21-year-old played a few minutes off the bench against Newcastle United on opening day. And the Englishman was one of our bright spots from pre-season as he impressed in a number of games.

The report adds that the 21-year-old twisted his knee in a U23 game against Blackburn and will undergo surgery once the swelling reduces.

This will come as a blow to the youngster, who could have been named in the squad to face Barcelona, as per the report.

Tottenham are in an injury crisis as Hugo Lloris, Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele and Christian Eriksen all picking up knocks in recent weeks.

Another injury will truly test our squad depth and questions will arise about us not signing playings in the summer.

Tottenham can’t lose more games in the Champions League and the Premier League after an iffy start to the season. We have picked things up in recent weeks and Harry Kane has been in fantastic form, having scored a brace in our win over Huddersfield.

Hopefully, some of the injured stars will return soon and start playing for us, as we look to minimize the impact caused by all these withdrawals.
