Moussa Sissoko hasn’t started many games for Tottenham this season but got a chance to impress against Cardiff City.

Spurs had a number of injuries and the Frenchman was given the nod to start against the Bluebirds. This was only his second start in the Premier League this season and Sissoko did a decent job for the home side.

The Frenchman played 85 minutes of the clash which was decided by an early Eric Dier goal.

Sissoko posted an image on his Twitter account as Tottenham headed into the international break with an important win.

Sissoko hasn’t always been the best performer for Tottenham since his move from Newcastle. The Frenchman has often struggled on the pitch but some fans were appreciative of his effort on Saturday.

Tottenham have a long season ahead and hopefully, Sissoko will come good for the team. The French midfielder isn’t the worst player out there, and the only thing he needs to do is work on his consistency and final product.
