Tottenham have been dealt another injury blow as Mauricio Pochettino claimed that Danny Rose had picked up a knock in our win over Cardiff City.
The manager was speaking to the press after the game and Football.london reports that the Englishman has a groin problem.
The left-back would be assessed and is the latest player to pick up an injury. Hugo Lloris, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Jan Vertonghen have all been on the treatment table at one point of the season or another.
The left-back has done a better job than Ben Davies and seems to be the preferred choice for the manager in this campaign.
The international break will provide a lot of our players with ample time to recover. However, a few were already concerned about the number of injuries we have picked up.
The summer has not been good for Spurs’ contingent of World Cup participants.

Maybe Poch is being slick so Danny doesn’t have to go to the national team for the break 😏👍

It’s crap. All WC players injured. But they are getting a rest whilst we are winning points. That augers well for the rest of the season
