Tottenham face a must-win clash against PSV Eindhoven to keep their Champions League hopes alive. Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost their opening two games in the group, and only wins against the Dutch giants can provide us with a shot of qualifying for the next stage.

Spurs have been in decent form domestically as they picked up a hard-fought win over West Ham at the weekend.

There was some good news for Tottenham as Christian Eriksen got a few minutes on the pitch against the Hammers. Spurs have been hit hard by injuries but the Dane should be in line to start on Wednesday.

Tottenham need to be at their best, and here is our predicted line-up to face the Dutch giants.

Predicted Tottenham XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Hugo Lloris (GK)

The French keeper was excellent in our win over the Hammers and is a sure-shot starter against PSV.

Serge Aurier (RB)

Aurier should get a slot in the team as Pochettino could rest Kieran Trippier for the game against Manchester City next week.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Rest cannot be given to our central defenders as Jan Vertonghen is out with an injury. Alderweireld should start against PSV alongside Sanchez.

Davinson Sanchez (CB)

The Colombian didn’t make too many mistakes against the Hammers and should start against the Dutch team.

Ben Davies (LB)

We aren’t sure of Danny Rose’s injury hence Davies should continue in the starting XI.

Eric Dier (CM)

The Englishman was quality against the Hammers, and his partnership with Winks is blossoming at the right time for Spurs.

Harry Winks (CM)

Winks is another player getting better with minutes under his belt and should keep his place in the team.

Christian Eriksen (CAM)

It was great seeing the Dane return against West Ham. Eriksen should slot straight into the first team to face PSV.

Lucas Moura (RAM)

Moura hasn’t been great in recent games, but he should start for us as we look for an important win.

Erik Lamela of Tottenham scores

Erik Lamela (LAM)

The Argentine is in the form of his life after another goal against West Ham. Lamela seems undroppable at the moment and should continue starting for Tottenham.

Harry Kane (ST)

Kane wasn’t great in our last game but the Englishman will look to find the back of the net on Wednesday.
