Tottenham players celebrate win over Crystal Palace

Tottenham had to battle hard for the three points at Selhurst Park on Saturday. We had a surprise goalscorer in Juan Foyth as the youngster got his first Premier League goal for the club.

That certainly got a lot of praise from the Tottenham fans but also from the players. Toby Alderweireld posted a cheeky tweet comparing one of our Argentines to one of the best in the world.

Another Argentine in the side, Paulo Gazzaniga, didn’t start the game with Hugo Lloris playing as our keeper. However, the 26-year-old could not help cheer on his teammate.

The goalscorer was also going to get on the act as he tweeted his happiness at helping his side pick up the three points.

The third Argentine in the side, Erik Lamela, also posted an update after he was replaced due to an injury in the second half.

Moussa Sissoko was possibly one of the best players for Tottenham in the win on Saturday, and the Frenchman was pleased with the hard-fought win in the London derby.

Victor Wanyama got a start for the away side and kept the Palace midfield in check throughout the game.

Harry Kane didn’t get on the score sheet but the England captain knew how important the three points were against Palace.

Dele Alli backed up the England captain with his short but perfect at Selhurst Park.

Tottenham have been great in the past month or so but we have to take a break with the players heading off for national duty. Spurs return for an epic clash against Chelsea in a couple of weeks, and hopefully, we will pick up three points at Wembley in our next clash.
