Tottenham came out with the three points against Crystal Palace thanks to a battling performance from the side.
Juan Foyth got the only goal of the game in our win, and we needed some of our players to be at their best against Roy Hodgson’s side.
Hugo Lloris came up big with an important save in the final minutes to keep us in the lead, but the Tottenham captain was far from convincing in the early parts of the game.
The Frenchman misjudged the flight of the ball numerous times and was lucky Palace did not make us pay for those mistakes.
This is not the first time Lloris has made errors on the pitch. The World Cup winner was sent off in our tie against PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands a few weeks ago, and that cost us two points as we were leading the game.
With Paulo Gazzaniga doing extremely well for the side, and even getting a call-up to the Argentine national side, there were some fans who wanted the Spurs captain to be dropped from the side.
Ben Davies really isn’t having a great season and please take Lloris off he’s just flapping. @SpursOfficial #THFC #COYS

Twice now from Hugo Lloris in this game he flaps from a routine catch as manages to punch the ball away to safety for Spurs.
The Tottenham Hotspur captain and French World Cup winner looking devoid of confidence in goal and again showing a poor lack of judgement.#THFC #COYS

#THFC How long will it be before Gazzaniga takes the #1 shirt. at least for a spell? Loris is just downright awful & was a lucky lad that Palace is so poor they couldn’t convert at least 1 of his many mistakes.#LORIS

Correction Porky. Lloris is obviously troubled by his off pitch problems which are now manifesting far too regularly on the pitch. Time to make Gazzaniga number 1.
