Tottenham have been granted permission to play their home games at Wembley until the new stadium is complete, according to the BBC.
Tottenham had confirmed that Wembley would be our home till the end of the year, and now we can play at the stadium with a reduced capacity of 51,000, as per the report.
Tottenham can increase the capacity to 62,000 but will have to present a planning application to the Brent Council. The report adds that we could even have additional exceptions to increase the capacity to 90,000.
It was the same council that had granted us the use of Wembley last season as construction on our new stadium began.
Our new home was expected to open in September, however, delays over safety issues have ensured we stay at Wembley till the end of the year.
Tottenham haven’t been fazed much by these delays as we have done well in the league and are in the top four despite a shaky start to the campaign.

Our next game is against Chelsea at Wembley, and we could put ourselves back in the race for the title with a win over the Blues after the international break.
