Moussa Sissoko is having the time of his life at Tottenham this season. The Frenchman hasn’t always been great on the pitch for Spurs, but his recent performances saw him get a call-up by France.
The 29-year-old midfielder was pictured taking part in a training session, and even posted pictures on his Instagram page.
Sissoko was one of our best performers in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace recently. The Frenchman was applauded by the away fans at Selhurst Park and now has six Premier League starts to his name this season.
Of course, Sissoko was helped with the injury situation at Tottenham. Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier, Mousa Dembele and Dele Alli having fitness issues this season.
Another factor that could have played a role in Sissoko starting games is Tottenham not signing any players in the summer window.
However, credit must be given to him as his hard work off the pitch is translating into great performances for the side.
His call-up to the national side is the perfect reward for a good start to the season, and hopefully, things only get better for the former Newcastle United star.
Tottenham play Chelsea after the international break and Sissoko could be one of the stars for us in the clash between third and fourth in the Premier League.
