Tottenham’s new stadium might face some issues and the club won’t move into the new stadium before March, according to the Times (h/t Express).
Tottenham expected to move into their new home in September with Liverpool being the first visitors, however, delays have ensured that we play the remainder of our home games at Wembley till the end of the year.
The report adds that construction workers have kept two dates as possible openers for Tottenham with Manchester United (13 January) and Arsenal (2 March) being our first visitors.
Tottenham have agreed a deal to play at Wembley till the end of the season too, as per the report, however, an update on the new stadium should be released next month.
The report claims that the club fears some of the builders are deliberately slowing down work at the ground. Daniel Levy has been critical of many workers, possibly due to the delays in the stadium.
Spurs haven’t led the delays affect their performances as we are fourth in the Premier League and have a tough clash after the international break.

We place third-placed Chelsea and a win would put us ahead of our London rivals. Tottenham haven’t been great against their top six rivals with losses against Liverpool and Manchester City at home, and hopefully, we can turn things around at Wembley next week.
