Ben Davies is the latest Tottenham star to praise the hard work of France international Moussa Sissoko. The former Newcastle midfielder was recently recalled by the World Cup winners after a great season with Tottenham.
Sissoko always hasn’t had it great at Tottenham but his determination and hard work are paying off now. The 29-year-old impressed in our win over Crystal Palace a week ago, and Davies heaped praise on the Frenchman (h/t Tottenham Hotspur):
“Honestly, he’s been brilliant for us.
“It’s the work he does off the ball that goes unrecognised but for us, as a team, it’s invaluable.
“To have a player like Moussa is to have a player who when you are under pressure, you know he’s going to get on the end of things, work and chase everything.”
The Welsh defender claimed Sissoko was one of the hardest workers in the team and deserved the call-up to the World Cup winners.
The Frenchman didn’t make it to the final squad that picked up the World Cup in Russia and Davies believed that would have been difficult to deal with for Sissoko.
The 29-year-old seems to be finally showing what he is capable off at Tottenham, and it has come at the right time too.

The midfielder could be in the starting line-up when we face Chelsea in a week’s time, and there is no doubt he will put a shift in for Spurs.
