Tottenham face a huge clash against Inter Milan in the Champions League after our game against Chelsea at the weekend.

We have to get the three points against the Serie A side to make it into the next round. Our final group game is against Barcelona at the Nou Camp but Inter could be missing a key player when we face them, according to Calciomercato.

Sime Vrsaljko picked up an injury in the 2-1 defeat to England recently and Inter released a statement regarding the same.

“Sime Vrsaljko underwent an MRI this afternoon at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano after being replaced in the 27th minute of the UEFA Nations League match between England and Croatia.

“The tests showed a thigh strain in his left leg. The Croatian’s condition will be reassessed in the coming days.”

Calciomercato claims that the Croatian defender would be spending a couple of weeks getting back to fitness and could miss the clash against Spurs at Wembley.

Tottenham need all the help they can get after a poor start to the Champions League group. They lost the opening ties to Inter Milan and Barcelona before drawing away at PSV Eindhoven.

Inter picked up a 2-1 win over Spurs at the San Siro and we need to better that record to move above them in the table.

The clash will certainly be a test of our resolve and should we win that game, we must do something similar against Barcelona too.
