Tottenham star Christian Eriksen has played down reports of him quitting the Premier League club, according to the Daily Mail.
The Dane’s contract ends in 18 months at the club, and he is yet to pen a new deal with Spurs. The report claims that the Dane earns £70,000-a-week and clubs such as Juventus, Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the 26-year-old.
Eriksen was in action for the national side during the international break and played 45 minutes in the 0-0 draw against the Republic of Ireland.
The Tottenham star was quoted by the Daily Mail saying:
“There are so many reports… Don’t believe them, not from what I know anyway.”
The report adds that the Dane didn’t share any information of him signing an extension with Tottenham.
Eriksen is easily one of the best players we have and we can’t afford to lose him anytime soon. The Dane has had a stop-start season so far due to injuries and only has one goal to his name.
The Spurs star recorded 10 goals and 10 assists in the league last time around, and a similar tally would be appreciated as we look to cement a top four place again.

Tottenham have some tough fixtures coming up and Eriksen has to be at his best if we are to defeat the likes of Chelsea and Inter Milan.
