Tottenham don’t have it easy when they return to Premier League football after the international break. Spurs face off against Chelsea at Wembley, and a win will see us leapfrog the Blues in the table.
We have been on a decent run in recent weeks, as long as we take the Manchester City loss out, but there are a number of fitness concerns for Mauricio Pochettino to consider.
Spurs like five points behind the leaders City in the league and a win on Saturday should put us back in the mix for the title.
We have a tough game against Inter Milan in midweek too, and here is our predicted line-up for the side.
Predicted Tottenham XI
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Manager: Mauricio Pochettino
Hugo Lloris (GK)
Heartbreak in the Nations League shouldn’t affect Lloris as the captain would need to have a stellar game to keep Eden Hazard out.
Serge Aurier (RB)
We are unsure if Kieran Trippier would be fit for the clash on Saturday, hence Tottenham should start with Aurier at the back.
Juan Foyth (CB)
The Argentine has been wonderful in recent weeks, and even after playing for the national side during the break, we should see Foyth start for Tottenham.
Toby Alderweireld (CB)
Alderweireld was another player that didn’t have a great international break but his experience at the back is crucial for Spurs.
Ben Davies (LB)
The Welshman should be an automatic starter as we aren’t sure of when Danny Rose would be back for the team.
Eric Dier (CM)
The English midfielder will have a real battle on his hands as he faces the likes of N’Golo Kante and Jorginho.
Moussa Sissoko (CM)
The French midfielder was recalled by the national side during the break and should continue in his position for Tottenham.
Lucas Moura (LAM)
Moura could be one of our key players as his speed and dribbling could open up the Chelsea defence on Saturday.
Dele Alli (CAM)
Alli is yet to kick-start his season for Tottenham, and what better way to do that than performing in a London derby.
Christian Eriksen (RAM)
Eriksen has come back to fitness and played in the recent break for the Danish national team.

Harry Kane (ST)
Kane should be flying high after his Nations League heroics and we need him to be at his best on Saturday.
