Harry Kane of Tottenham scores against Chelsea

Juan Foyth & Paulo Gazzaniga Tottenham

Tottenham produced an incredible display to defeat Premier League rivals Chelsea 3-1 at Wembley. Spurs came flying out of the blocks after the international break with Dele Alli opening the scoring in the eighth minute.

Harry Kane made it two on 16 minutes as Kepa Arrizabalaga was unsighted before Son Heung-min scored the goal of the game in the second half.

Olivier Giroud pulled a goal back in the 85th minute but Chelsea were never in the game. The win lifted us above the Blues and creates the perfect mood ahead of our important clash against Inter Milan in midweek.

Alli was one of the stars in the performance and here are the player ratings from the incredible win.

Hugo Lloris – 7/10

The captain didn’t have much to do in this game and couldn’t do much to save Giroud’s header late on.

Serge Aurier – 7.5/10

The Ivorian was excellent in the first half linking well with the attack and kept Eden Hazard in his pocket.

Juan Foyth celebrates with his Tottenham teammates

Juan Foyth – 7.5/10

Foyth was lucky not to give away a penalty when he clipped Hazard in the first half but apart from that, it was a decent display from the youngster.

Toby Alderweireld – 8/10

This was a great showing from the Belgian as Chelsea barely caused him problems in the tie.

Ben Davies – 8/10

The Welsh defender was excellent in the game and barring the late goal for Giroud, he didn’t make any mistakes at the back.

Moussa Sissoko – 9/10

Sissoko was seen all over the park, and that was a good thing. The Frenchman tackled almost everything in Blue and this was probably his best outing this season.

Eric Dier Dele Alli Tottenham

Eric Dier – 8/10

The Englishman had a great outing in midfield and kept Chelsea’s midfielders in check.

Christian Eriksen – 8.5/10

Eriksen started the rout with a great cross for Alli’s opener. The Dane was at the heart of all things good for Spurs against Chelsea.

Dele Alli – 9/10

Alli recorded the first goal and set up Son for the third in an incredible display for Tottenham.

Son Heung-min – 8.5/10

The South Korean scored his 50th goal for Tottenham and was fantastic. The attacker had a couple of great chances before his goal but his strike was possibly the best of the season.

Harry Kane of Tottenham scores against Chelsea

Harry Kane – 8/10

Kane might have been a little lucky with the goal as Kepa was unsighted but the English striker was a thorn in the Chelsea defence throughout.

Substitutes

Erik Lamela – 6.5/10

The Argentine came on in the second half to make things difficult for Chelsea.
