Tottenham were rampant against Chelsea in their London derby win on Saturday. Mauricio Pochettino’s men won the tie 3-1 but we could have scored a few more against the hapless Blues.
Our attacking quartet of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Son Heung-min worked their socks off but another player put up a fantastic display.
Moussa Sissoko has been excellent for Tottenham this season and the numbers certainly backed it up.
📈 @MoussaSissoko‘s game in numbers:
100% tackles made (4)
100% aerial duels won (2)
100% take-ons completed (1)
10 recoveries💯💯💯#COYS pic.twitter.com/6F44NNzf3t

The former Newcastle United star was all over the pitch, harrying the Chelsea players. Although he didn’t score a goal, he ensured that the Blues didn’t get a foothold in the game.
Jorginho and N’Golo Kante barely got control in the midfield and Sissoko and Eric Dier were brilliant for the home side.
The Frenchman hasn’t had the greatest of times since joining Spurs a few years ago, but finally, we are seeing his quality and some fans were happy with his performance on Saturday.
Bloke deserves all the credit in the world for how he has kept his head down and worked to be a better player despite a barrage of criticism from his own supporters.
Another remarkable display where Kante was second best to him for the whole entire game, deserves his place. 👏🏻

Top player, great engine for full 90 + minutes and NEVER goes missing. Some lovely touches today as well.

This deeper role shouldve been his ideal position from the get go! he is not a winger! Glad Poch is seeing that now #COYS
