Tottenham play Arsenal after their Champions League encounter against Inter Milan and the referee selected for the North London derby has already raised a few eyebrows.

Mike Dean has been appointed the man in charge of the huge clash and the Daily Mail reports that the referee had celebrated a Tottenham goal against Aston Villa, waving ‘play on’.

Of course, that could have been a coincidence but this selection riled up both sets of fans ahead of the game.

Tottenham have had a great record in recent home games from this derby. As a result, many Arsenal fans are already fretting the game after Dean’s appointment, despite the fact that the game will be played at the Emirates.

Some Spurs fans had their own comments about the selection claiming Dean helps Arsenal more, and here are a few reactions from Twitter.
