Tottenham have been put on alert as Spanish star Isco has fallen out of favour at Real Madrid, according to the Mirror.
The 26-year-old Real Madrid star is yet to make a start under new boss Santi Solari, and the report claims agents are sharing potential interest from English clubs to the Spanish international.
The report adds that Tottenham were close to signing the Spaniard a couple of years ago, and Manchester City and Chelsea have been interested in Isco previously.
Isco would not come on the cheap though, as the report adds the 26-year-old has a release clause of £700m and is contracted at the La Liga giants till 2022.
The Premier League would be the priority destination for the Spaniard should there continue to be a problem between the player and manager, as per the report, and it will be interesting to see if we actually make a move to sign him.
The Real Madrid star would be a wonderful addition to the side but there will be many clubs interested in the 26-year-old if Madrid decide to sell.
Mauricio Pochettino has done well with the current Tottenham team, but if we get someone like the Spaniard in the side, it would truly take us to another level.
