Tottenham provided an injury update ahead of their clash against Southampton in midweek. There was some good news for Spurs as Kieran Trippier was declared fit for the clash, and we could see the Englishman face the Saints.

However, there was some concern for Erik Lamela as the Argentine has a thigh problem and is currently going through rehabilitation.
The Argentine could have been used in the midweek game as we only played on Sunday, but he joins Davinson Sanchez and Victor Wanyama on the sidelines.
The Colombian has a hamstring issue while Wanyama still has to deal with a knee problem. Of course, we will be without Jan Vertonghen as the Belgian serves a one-match ban due to his red card against the Gunners.

The final player who is out of the clash is Mousa Dembele. The midfielder is still recovering from his ankle injury, and Tottenham declared that he should be fit in a few weeks.

It will be imperative for us to get the three points against the Saints and keep up the push for a top-four place. Losing against Arsenal was a huge dent in our Champions League ambitions, and hopefully, we will start a winning run from the midweek game.
