Tottenham received an injury boost ahead of their clash against Southampton as Kieran Trippier was declared fit for selection.
The English defender picked up an injury in our win over Crystal Palace almost a month ago, and we have seen Serge Aurier play in his place.
Trippier hasn’t been in prolific form this season, despite his World Cup heroics, but the Englishman provides us with an option for the right-back position and also will give Aurier some much-needed rest when selected.

Tottenham could do with some positive news after their North London derby loss, and a win over Mauricio Pochettino’s former side is the minimum requirement. We have to put the pressure on the top four as our defeat against the Gunners put us out of the Champions League slots.
Many Tottenham fans were happy with Trippier returning from his injury and wanted him to start against the Saints.
Good news, Spurs fans have a very short memory
