Dele Alli Tottenham

Dele Alli was on the scoresheet as we comfortably defeated Leicester City in the Premier League. Son Heung-Min got the first goal of the game with a stunning effort and the South Korean provided the assist for the Englishman to score in the second half.

This was Alli’s third Premier League goal of the season but more importantly, it was his 50th goal for Tottenham. The 22-year-old hasn’t been in prolific form this season, but this effort should give him additional confidence ahead of a crucial clash against Barcelona.

The Tottenham twitter account was quick to highlight that the Englishman did open account for the club in 2015 when he was playing against Leicester, which was scored in a similar manner compared to last night.

The 22-year-old is one of the bright sparks in our side, and we need him at his best for the remainder of the season.

Several Spurs fans were pleased with the Englishman’s effort, and here are some of their reactions to Alli’s achievement.
