Mauricio Pochettino has joked that chairman Daniel Levy is worried about the Argentine leaving Tottenham.
The Telegraph reports that the Tottenham manager has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United, and spoke about the matter ahead of the clash against Burnley on Saturday.
The Argentine signed a new deal with the club in May, and seemed to be in great spirits ahead of the tie (h/t Telegraph):
“Daniel does not laugh. I know it gets boring but he maybe is worried, he is concerned. It is normal. It is not nice for Daniel to hear all that history of course.
“Do I have to reassure him? No. It is like in football when the sporting director or the club president says ‘no, the manager is going to be here and we trust in him’, and next game [he is] out. If you reassure something it is because you are thinking different things.
“He is a worried man because he is jealous about me!”
The manager has been one of the best things about Tottenham in recent years and has made us top four regulars.
We even came out of a tough Champions League group after an important draw against Barcelona in midweek.
The Argentine has worked wonders despite not signing any players in the summer, and we need to address that in January when the transfer window opens.

Hopefully, Pochettino leads us to some trophies in the coming seasons and stays at the club for years to come.
