Tottenham are contemplating a move for Hoffenheim midfielder Florian Grillitsch, according to Bild (h/t Metro).
The 23-year-old Austrian has 18 appearances to his name for the Bundesliga side this season, and the central midfielder has been one of their most impressive players so far.
Grillitsch even played in the recent 2-1 loss to Manchester City in the Champions League and did well at the Etihad.
The report claims that Arsenal are also interested in the 23-year-old, and the player could leave in the winter window.
The player’s agent was also in England over the past week, as per the report, but it is unclear how much the 23-year-old would be worth.
Tottenham didn’t dip into the transfer market in the summer, and it will be interesting to see if we make a move in January.
The 23-year-old would provide us with some quality in our midfield, and he would certainly provide some respite to the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Eric Dier and Harry Winks.
The trio have been used a lot by Mauricio Pochettino in recent weeks due to the injuries sustained by Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama.

Tottenham haven’t had much luck regarding players from Austria as Kevin Wimmer struggled at the club. The 26-year-old is currently signed with Stoke City and is playing at Hannover 96 on loan.
