Vincent Janssen is recovering from a foot injury and the Dutch striker has found it hard to break into the Tottenham side after his move from AZ Alkmaar.
The 24-year-old’s agent has claimed that they are unsure about what the future holds for the Dutch striker.
Speaking to ESPN, Janssen’s agent Laros added that the Dutch striker wanted to get back to fitness:
“We don’t know what will happen. His focus is first to get 100 percent fit and then we will see what happens.
“There’s not much more to do right now, he wants to be fit and play but we will see.”
The striker spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce but struggled to score and also picked up an injury. Fernando Llorente is the other striker in the side, but the report claims that Tottenham will seek another forward to cover Harry Kane in the summer.
The report adds that Fenerbahce are not interested in re-signing the 24-year-old Janssen, and the striker’s contract ends in 2020.
It has been a struggle for the Dutchman to score goals as he did in his native country. The 24-year-old needs regular football, and it will be interesting to see if we can seal a transfer away for him at the end of the season.
