Talented Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is set to remain at the Ligue 1 club till the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.

The 21-year-old has been one of the rising stars in the French league from last season and has continued his great work with Lyon in the current campaign too.

His performances have earned him a lot of interest from the Premier League with Tottenham searching for a possible replacement to Mousa Dembele.

Ndombele helped Lyon to the round of 16 in the Champions League, where they face Barcelona. The report adds that the Frenchman prefers staying at the club till the end of the season and help them in their European adventures.

Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested in the midfielder as they look to add quality to their sides (h/t Sky Sports). Tottenham have had some injury concerns regarding several midfielders this season.

Dembele is recuperating from an ankle injury while Victor Wanyama has had his fair share of problems. Spurs were handed another blow as Eric Dier had to undergo an appendix operation and is set to return in January.

Ndombele would be a perfect option for our team and it will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old would demand a hefty fee due to his age and potential, and with several clubs after him, Lyon could see a bidding war for the midfield dynamo.
