The Sun reports that Tottenham striker and England captain Harry Kane will receive an OBE from the Queen. 2018 has been excellent for the Spurs star as he led England to the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and even won the Golden Boot in Russia.
The report adds that England manager, Gareth Southgate, is also in line for an OBE and Kane has been told to keep things under wraps until an official reveal takes place. The English striker is one of the best in the world and is again in the running for the Premier League’s Golden Boot.
The striker lost that race to Mohamed Salah last season and this season, we have another challenger for the crown, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Kane has been incredible and surely there are greater things to come for our star. Twitter went crazy with the latest about the Englishman, and here are some of the best reactions:

Harry Kane OBE. I’ve never been more proud to have a player associated with my club. His hard work & dedication have got him to where he is & he’s still the same humble, family man he was at the beginning. Has not put a foot wrong along the way. On course to be Spurs’ GOAT. #COYS

Worked unrelentingly to maximise his talent and rose to the top of his profession, while remaining a polite, humble, family man; avoiding the personality distortions that often arise in the pursuit of excellence. A perfect role model for any kid. Harry Kane fully deserves an OBE.
