Full Time: Everton 2-6 Tottenham
Tottenham put up an incredible display at Goodison Park as they destroyed Everton 6-2. The win kept Spurs six points behind Liverpool but we now stand just a couple of points behind second-placed Manchester City.
Although the scoreline suggests domination, the opening goal was scored by the home side with Theo Walcott beating Hugo Lloris.
The tide turned in the 27th minute as Son Heung-min took advantage of a mix-up between Jordan Pickford and Kurt Zouma as he slotted the ball into an empty net.
Tottenham then went on to score three unanswered goals before Everton got one back. However, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min ended the night with braces, and also proved they can keep pace at the top. There were many players who had a great game, with Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen also getting goals.
