Tottenham target Tanguy Ndombele could be off to the Serie A, according to his agent Duro Ivanisevic. The player’s agent was speaking about the Frenchman not moving in January and even claimed that Napoli could be a destination for the 21-year-old midfielder (h/t Express):
“The club is asking for €80m (£72m). Although negotiating it could be lowered and a different agreement can be reached.
“The Serie A is a championship that Ndombele could like. In January he will not move from the OL, but in the future they are situations that are contemplated.”
The Lyon midfielder has caught the eyes of many top clubs such as Manchester United and Barcelona, and the French club could be tempted to sell the rising star for a huge amount, as per the report.
Tottenham need to find a quality midfielder and Ndombele would be a fantastic signing if we can beat the likes of the Spanish giants.
Spurs have had their midfield problems this season with Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele struggling with injury.
Eric Dier is also out for a month due to an appendix operation, and that has forced Mauricio Pochettino to give some first-team minutes to youngster Oliver Skipp. Although Ndombele will not come on the cheap, the 21-year-old is one of the most talented players in Ligue 1.
