Tottenham play Bournemouth in their Boxing Day fixture and should come into the game with a lot of confidence.
Spurs were incredible in their previous clash against Everton and won the game 6-2. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min scored a brace each in the demolition of the Toffees, but there was one sour note with Dele Alli picking up a knock.
The Englishman had to be replaced during the game and could miss out on the Bournemouth clash. Mauricio Pochettino has to keep a close eye on his starting XI with so many matches coming up.
Predicted Tottenham XI
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Manager: Mauricio Pochettino
Hugo Lloris (GK)
The Frenchman should continue in goal and would want to keep a clean sheet against the Cherries.
Kieran Trippier (RB)
It is a tough choice to keep Trippier in the team but he should start on Wednesday despite recently recovering from an injury.
Toby Alderweireld (CB)
The Belgian hasn’t received a lot of rest in recent weeks but has to be at the heart of the defence against Bournemouth.
Davinson Sanchez (CB)
It was great seeing the Colombian back in action against Everton and we could see him start on Wednesday too.
Danny Rose (LB)
Ben Davies did a great job in recent weeks as a centre-back and the Welshman could be provided with a break on Wednesday.
Harry Winks (CM)
Winks was great in the win over the Toffees and the Englishman should be a part of the starting XI against the Cherries.
Oliver Skipp (CM)
Skipp could make a start on Wednesday as Moussa Sissoko seemed to pick up a minor knock in our last game.
Christian Eriksen (CAM)
The Dane scored a brilliant volley against the Toffees and we should see him remain in the side, especially with Alli being a doubt.
Lucas Moura (RAM)
Erik Lamela could start in place of Moura but I would give the edge to the Brazilian as Pochettino rotates his players.
Son Heung-min (LAM)
Son should be played as much as possible since he is in great form. He will also leave for the Asian Cup in January and it would make sense to make the best use of him while he is available.
Harry Kane (ST)
Kane wasn’t the best player on the pitch on Sunday but still bagged a brace. He would be looking to do the same on Wednesday too.
