Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has praised Mauricio Pochettino’s ability to develop players. The Tottenham coach has worked wonders in England during his time with Southampton and Spurs.
The Argentine has made Tottenham into a top-four side and we are just six points off the Premier League leaders after 18 games.
Howe was speaking ahead of the Boxing Day clash between Spurs and the Cherries, and he complimented Pochettino (h/t Express):
“I think the biggest compliment I can give him is that he improves players.
“You look at the players he has worked with for a consistent period of time, I think they have all got better and are now playing at high levels, and the team because of that has benefitted.
“He’s an outstanding manager. He’s definitely someone you look at and think he has a lot of qualities that you would want in yourself as a manager.”
The Bournemouth manager claimed that Pochettino works hard for the club and is committed to the side. The Argentine is one of the best in the world and it comes as no surprise that we are doing well under him.

Tottenham didn’t sign anyone in the summer but we seem to be getting better under Poch. The 6-2 mauling of Everton was fantastic and it will be important for us to continue playing with that hunger and desire for the remainder of the season.
