Tottenham are interested in injured Barcelona star Rafinha, according to the Express. The Brazilian has struggled for regular starts at the Catalan club and even spent the second half of last season on loan at Inter Milan.
Injuries have played a part in curbing his minutes this season, with the midfielder tearing his ACL in last month’s game against Atletico Madrid. Although the 25-year-old is out for a while, Tottenham and AS Roma are interested in the midfielder, as per the report.
The midfielder would cost us £35million (h/t Express) and the best decision would be to wait and see how his rehab progresses.
The 25-year-old came through the Barcelona academy but hasn’t been able to freeze a place in the team. The midfielder has only made eight appearances this season with five starts to his name.
Tottenham were the only club not to dip into the transfer market in the summer and we have struggled this season to keep our players fit.
Our midfield is a little thin, with Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier recovering from problems, and Victor Wanyama seemingly unfit.
Mauricio Pochettino has ensured the club has made its best ever start to a Premier League season without any new additions and he could do even better if he is backed in the transfer market.
