The Daily Mail claims that Tottenham will sell several players in the winter window as they look to chase down Liverpool at the top of the table. One player that is surprisingly in the list of players to be sold is Victor Wanyama. The Kenyan has had his struggles with injuries and has had just one Premier League start for us this season.
The report claims that Wanyama does not want to leave the club but West Ham are amongst the parties interested in the 27-year-old.
The Kenyan is contracted until 2021 as per the report, and it will be interesting to see if we do ship the midfielder out in the winter window.
The other players being linked with moves away include Mousa Dembele, Fernando Llorente, Vincent Janssen and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, as per the report.
Tottenham’s injury concerns have seen players drop out from several positions and Mauricio Pochettino has had to turn to youngsters such as Oliver Skipp and Kyle Walker-Peters. Selling players to balance the side is a necessity and getting rid of the deadwood is the right call to take.
Wanyama could provide us with some steel in the midfield but Moussa Sissoko has performed brilliantly this season. With Harry Winks and Eric Dier also in the team, we should have enough cover in the middle of the park.

Spurs look great for the second half of the season and hopefully, we can finish the campaign with something to celebrate.
