Son Heung-min has claimed that Tottenham need a bit of luck as the hunt for trophies continues.

The South Korean has been in excellent form in recent games and claimed that the team should enjoy their Premier League run and not worry about the pressure that comes with it.

The 26-year-old scored twice in our 5-0 win over Bournemouth and told Sky Sports:

“We are just a bit unlucky for me, to be honest. We are close all the time.

People are thinking ‘ahhh it’s Spurs’, but we believe, always this team believe in the title, but sometimes you just have to have luck, with a long season.

“We can win, we deserve to win. The players deserve to win something.”

The attacker also spoke about how there is talk about Manchester City and Liverpool while no one touches upon our side.

Son claimed that Spurs would do things their way and the only focus is on the team. The South Korean added that football is all about surprises and no one expected Manchester City to lose back-to-back games.

Tottenham have made their best start to a Premier League campaign, and our attacker wanted the side to keep picking up the points and then see what happens at the end of the season.

The South Korean is right in saying that we need to concentrate on ourselves and then see where we end up. Spurs also have the Carabao Cup semi-final with Chelsea coming up, and the Champions League round of 16 tie against Borussia Dortmund.

This is possibly the best Spurs side I have seen in the Premier League era and we need to win a trophy soon.
