Tottenham striker Harry Kane backed Mauricio Pochettino as the manager of the club and believes they can reach the next level.
The Spurs star was speaking to the media and was asked about the manager’s future. The press officer tried to stop the journalist from asking about Poch, but Kane was more than willing to answer, according to the Telegraph.
The England captain claimed that the team was behind the manager and believes a great squad has been built over the past three-four years. The striker added that we need to turn all this around and win a trophy, which is the next step.
“It’s about turning that into a trophy.
“We are at the stage now where we have a mature team. We are not young any more. It’s important we keep ourselves at this high level, at the top.”
Poch has been fantastic for Spurs over the years and we are in the race for several trophies this season. The Premier League is the one that would be amazing but we could break the duck in the FA Cup or the Carabao Cup too.
Spurs hold a minor lead in the Carabao Cup ahead of the second leg against Chelsea and with form on our side, we should make it to the final.

Tottenham have been playing some fantastic football in recent weeks and Kane is right in suggesting that we need a trophy at the club soon.
