Sky Sports pundit and former Premier League player Liam Rosenior believes Callum Wilson is the perfect fit for Tottenham after Harry Kane’s injury.
Kane is set to be out till March after damaging his ankle ligaments in the 1-0 loss to Manchester United, and Spurs face another issue with Son Heung-min leaving to play the Asian Cup with South Korea.
The Daily Star reports that Chelsea have been linked with Wilson, but seem set to sign Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain.
Rosenior acknowledged that Spurs had done a great job, and wants them to reach the next level while speaking on the Debate.
The former Fulham man added that Wilson would be a great addition to the side and would be “delighted” to play for us (h/t Daily Star):
“I look at Callum Wilson and think he’s the perfect fit. He is of a profile where he would be delighted to have the chance to play for a club like Tottenham.”
The former defender believed that this would be the ideal situation for the club to show their intent in keeping Pochettino and signing Wilson.
The Daily Star adds that the Englishman would not come on the cheap with Bournemouth asking for £75m for the 26-year-old.
However, Rosenior added that Pochettino had done a great job as Tottenham were challenging Liverpool and Manchester City despite any investment, but the club had to act due to the problems in our attack.

Wilson would be a decent option to have and we desperately need a forward, however, the price-tag is one major stumbling block as Bournemouth look to make bank on their talented forward.
