Tottenham confirmed that Harry Kane would be out till March after injuring ligaments in the 1-0 loss to Manchester United.
A last-second tackle from Phil Jones seemed to have done the damage as Kane was trying to win the ball, and the England captain was seen holding his ankle as the medical staff worked on him.
The Englishman left the pitch limping, and two months out is a huge blow to the team that was looking to win a trophy under Mauricio Pochettino.
Kane has been our best player for the past three years or so, and we will miss out not only on his goals but also his energy and leadership in the side.
Spurs have some huge games coming up in the coming months with the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Chelsea, the two Champions League ties against Borussia Dortmund and Premier League games against Arsenal and the Blues.
The release from Spurs claimed that Kane would return to training in early March, but we need him to come back to full fitness as he could still play a huge role in our hopes of finishing in the top four.
Tottenham have some tough decisions to make regarding our starting XI with Son Heung-min also travelling for the Asian Cup.
However, several Tottenham fans weren’t happy regarding Kane’s injury and believed the season was more or less over for Spurs.

Just in case you haven’t slashed your own wrists yet, please be aware that “return to training in early March” means “return to the team in late March/early April”.

Might as well announce Wembley for the rest of the season just to top it all off.
