Son Heung-min and Moussa Sissoko

Moussa Sissoko was one of the stars that picked up an injury in our 1-0 loss to Manchester United. The Frenchman had to be subbed in the first half with Football.london reporting that the midfielder suffered a groin strain on Sunday.

Sissoko has been ever present in the Tottenham team this season and has been excellent. The report claims that the Frenchman’s injury is not a serious one and that will come as good news to Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs have a packed schedule with Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Champions League games in between their Premier League commitments.

The report also adds that Mousa Dembele is set to join a Chinese club soon, but we should see the likes of Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama returning to full training in a couple of weeks.

Harry Winks is the only recognised senior midfielder that is fit at the moment, and we should see more of Oliver Skipp this season.

The youngster has looked decent this season and looks to be a quality addition to the side.

Sissoko’s bursting drives from midfield were causing Manchester United some problems and his departure also took out one of our weapons against United.

Sissoko has turned his career around this season with his displays, and hopefully, he comes back soon and helps us to a trophy or two.
