Football.london reports that Tottenham are keeping a watch on some of the best British talents.
Mauricio Pochettino has worked wonders with English stars during his time with Southampton and now Tottenham, and the report claims that Spurs are looking to return to their old model of signing home-grown talents.
The report adds that the last British player we signed was Kieran Trippier from Burnley in 2015, and have seen an influx of foreign signings which has caused some squad problems.
Ben Davies and Eric Dier don’t qualify as locally trained players, and that has seen Juan Foyth being left out from our European squads.
Jarrod Bowen of Hull City is still being scouted by Spurs as the Englishman keeps scoring goals for the Championship side.
The talented 21-year-old can play as a winger or as a striker and there is interest from Burnley, Crystal Palace and Leicester City, according to Football.london.
The report adds that Leeds United youngster Jack Clarke is being tracked by Spurs as the winger has helped the Championship side to the top of the table.
Max Aarons of Norwich City and Josh Maja of Sunderland are two other English starlets that Tottenham are interested in, according to Football.london.
Spurs were linked with moves for David Brooks, James Maddison and Jack Grealish but the club could not complete a deal for any of them.
Brooks ended up at Bournemouth while Maddison signed for Leicester. The report concludes by claiming that Tottenham will look to bring in more British talent in the next two transfer windows.
Tottenham have had to make some sacrifices regarding players and we first need to ship out some deadwood before signing young British players.

This policy has paid dividends for Pochettino earlier and hopefully does the same in the coming years.
