Tottenham target Malcom is a target by Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande, according to Marca (h/t Mirror).

The Brazilian has been linked with Spurs as we look to bring some attacking talent in for the injured Harry Kane.

The English striker picked up an ankle injury in the 1-0 loss to Manchester United and is expected to return in mid-March.

Malcom has struggled to make a positive impact at the Catalans since his move from Bordeaux in the summer and has scored just once this season for the La Liga giants.

The 21-year-old can play across the front-line but his best position is out wide. It will be tough to go head-to-head with a big spending side to sign any player, but we need someone to take over from Kane till he returns to action.

The 25-year-old has been excellent for Tottenham for the past four seasons and Mauricio Pochettino recently hinted that he would want to provide chances to some of our younger players.

Pochettino has done brilliantly with some Spurs players but we should make a move in the transfer window and sign someone, even if it is on loan.

Fernando Llorente’s style doesn’t suit the team while Vincent Janssen isn’t in the manager’s plans. Relying on some of our youngsters would be a big risk, but if anyone can get the team playing quality football, it has to be Pochettino.
