Turkish giants Besiktas are considering signing Tottenham winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou this month, according to the L’Equipe (h/t Daily Mail).
The 23-year-old has barely played for Tottenham this season but did have one huge moment on Sunday for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Nkoudou came off the bench to provide a crucial assist in Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Fulham. The Frenchman provided a delicious cross for Harry Winks to head home the winner during the final moments at Craven Cottage.
This was his first Premier League appearance of the season, and he was a late replacement for the injury Dele Alli.
The 23-year-old has struggled for game time at the club and even spent half a season on loan at Burnley without actually doing much for the Clarets.
Nkoudou could do with a move away for more playing time, but we are short of first-team attackers after the injuries to Harry Kane and Alli.
The pair could be out for a while and our schedule is packed due to our progress in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
Tottenham also have the Champions League games against Borussia Dortmund to think about, and we should not be thinking of letting players leave at the moment.
Son Heung-min is away on international duty while Moussa Sissoko and Victor Wanyama have injury problems.
Spurs have already sold Mousa Dembele in this transfer window, and it would be a major risk if we are to do the same with Nkoudou.
