Dele Alli will be unable to train for Tottenham till early March after suffering a hamstring strain in our 2-1 win over Fulham at the weekend.
The Englishman pulled up late in the game as he challenged for the ball, and was in visible pain as the medical team tried to get him back on his feet.
This is the second long-term injury we have been dealt in two weeks after Harry Kane injured his ankle in the 1-0 loss against Manchester United.
Following scans and clinical assessment, we can confirm that @dele_official has suffered a hamstring strain, sustained during Sunday’s match.
Dele will now undergo a period of rehabilitation with our medical staff, with the expectation of returning to training in early March. pic.twitter.com/BalHwgBFHZ

Alli had picked up some form in recent weeks, and this leaves Spurs in a conundrum regarding their starting XI for a few weeks.
Kane will be out till March too while Son Heung-min is away on international duty in the Asian Cup.
Tottenham face further injury problems with Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko not having played in the win over Fulham, and we sold Mousa Dembele a few days ago.
Alli’s creativity will be hard to replace and he could have played in place of Kane in our starting XI. The Englishman will miss some important ties like the Champions League clashes against Borussia Dortmund and the London derbies against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Several Tottenham fans feared the worst after learning of Alli’s injury, and here are some of their reactions from Twitter.
