France Football (h/t Metro) reports that Mauricio Pochettino will call Adrien Rabiot over a possible deal for the Paris Saint-Germain star.
Rabiot is out-of-contract at the end of the season at PSG, and the report claims that Spurs will lodge a bid for the 23-year-old midfielder.
The report adds that PSG have set a €15million tag on the midfielder, though Barcelona seemed to have agreed on terms for the Frenchman.
However, Tottenham seems to be a possible destination for the highly-rated midfielder and Pochettino will try to convince Rabiot to join the Lilywhites.
Chelsea and Liverpool have also been linked with the 23-year-old, however, the report adds that Spurs are lining up a bid with a view of signing him in the summer.
The report adds that PSG’s sporting director, Antero Henrique, confirmed that Rabiot would leave the club in the summer and they were not pleased with the conduct of the Frenchman.
Rabiot would be an excellent signing for Tottenham given his age and ability to play in a deeper role. The 23-year-old has the potential to be special, and Pochettino is the ideal manager to take the midfielder to the next level.

Spurs haven’t signed any players this season and even sold Mousa Dembele a few days ago. It will be interesting to see which club the 23-year-old ultimately moves to, but it would be great if he signed for Tottenham.
