Tottenham’s continued growth under Mauricio Pochettino is starting to reflect on the business side of things too as the Lilywhites are placed in the top 10 in Deloitte’s Football Money League 2019 (h/t City A.M).
Spurs had a fantastic season last time around by reaching the knockout stages of the Champions League and finishing in the top four too.
The report adds that the revenue for Spurs grew to €428.3m last season when compared to €359.5m in 2016-17.
The move to Wembley as our new stadium is being built is one reason in our increased income thanks to the national stadium’s higher capacity, as per the report.
The report adds that commercial revenue rose by 44% as Tottenham enjoyed a new kit deal with Nike.
One major taking from this report was Spurs closing the gap on their arch-rivals Arsenal, who lie in ninth spot, just one place above us.
The gap between the two clubs has been slashed to €11m, as per the report, and Tottenham are placed above European powerhouses Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan.
Real Madrid lead the Money League and are followed by their arch-rivals Barcelona. The highest placed English team is Manchester United, who trail the La Liga giants.
The other English clubs making up the top 10 include Manchester City (5), Liverpool (7) and Chelsea (8).

Spurs have done well commercially and we should rise up the rankings once we shift into the new stadium. Of course, we need to be regulars in the Champions League, and hopefully, we finish in the top four and win a trophy this season.
