Calciomercato (h/t Football.london) reports that Tottenham are linked with Radja Nainggolan of Inter Milan.

The Belgian midfielder has fallen out of favour at the San Siro, and the report claims that Chelsea and Manchester United are also interested in the 30-year-old.

Nainggolan was one of the best midfielders in the Serie A during his time with AS Roma, however, his move to Inter hasn’t been fruitful yet.

The 30-year-old has scored three goals from 17 appearances in all competitions, and his combative nature would be perfectly suited to the Premier League.

The report adds that Chelsea seem to be leading the race for the unwanted midfielder, but Spurs could do with some options for the midfield.

The Lilywhites sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window, and have not made a single signing since the start of the season.

Spurs have been dealt several injuries in recent weeks, and we have some tough games coming up in domestically and in European competition.

Our hopes of finishing the season with silverware were dealt a bit of a blow on Thursday. Chelsea defeated Spurs in the Carabao Cup semi-final on penalties, despite us going into the second leg with a 1-0 advantage.

Nainggolan would add a lot of bit and physicality to any midfield in the Premier League, however, his age is the major concern.

The 30-year-old won’t have many quality years left in him, and it will be interesting to see if the Belgian swaps Italy for England soon.
