Son Heung-Min’s Asian Cup journey came to a premature end as South Korea were shocked 1-0 by Qatar in the quarter-finals.
The Koreans were one of the favourites to win the tournament, and Son would have wanted to win the title after picking up the Gold medal in Asian Games earlier in the season. However, it was not to be.
The 26-year-old has been fantastic for Spurs in recent months having scored eight goals and supplied five assists in the Premier League this season.

Son’s departure had reduced our options up top due to Harry Kane’s injury. Tottenham were dealt a further blow as Dele Alli picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-1 win over Fulham.
The English pair are expected to be out till March, and the South Korean’s return will be a much-needed boost for the remainder of the campaign.
Tottenham exited the Carabao Cup on Thursday with a penalty shootout loss against Chelsea in the semi-final.
They had Fernando Llorente leading the line, however, it is to be seen if Son plays any role in our FA Cup tie at the weekend.
We play Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday to try and progress further in the cup.
Tottenham could do with the services of Son as soon as possible, and several Spurs supporters were pleased that the attacker didn’t go far in the Asian Cup.
