Croatia attacker Ante Rebic has claimed that a move to the Premier League would suit him. The 25-year-old was a part of Croatia’s World Cup squad that reached the final in Russia and has been starring for Eintracht Frankfurt since moving there in 2016.

The 25-year-old was linked with Tottenham in the summer, with the club ready to pay £35million, according to the Mirror.

The report adds that Arsenal and Bayern Munich were also willing to pay the fee, but Rebic remained with his current side. The attacker can play in several positions across the front-line and claimed there was interest from a few Premier League clubs (h/t Mirror):

“I can’t deny many clubs, some from England, expressed an interest. The Premier League is attractive and it would suit my style. I’d like to experience it.”

Rebic has been in great touch for the Bundesliga side, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists in 14 league games this season. The 25-year-old would be an excellent signing for Spurs as he would increase the competition for the wide positions.

Rebic is also capable of playing as a striker, and it will be interesting to see if he is on the move in the summer.

The Premier League would be a tougher test for the Croatian given its physical nature, but the attacker has the ability to thrive in the competition.
