The Daily Mail (h/t Mirror) reports that Tottenham will not move into their new stadium against Arsenal on March 2. Spurs had announced that they would be playing at Wembley until February as work on the £1billion stadium still goes on (h/t Mirror).
However, the report claims that this date will be pushed back until mid-March as the police will not allow Tottenham to play a category C status game against Arsenal as the opening game of the new stadium.
The report adds that the earliest fixture we could see at the new home is against Crystal Palace on March 17. However, this game could be rearranged given Palace’s FA Cup journey.
The Eagles defeated us in the fourth round and the game against Spurs could be rearranged if Palace reach the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The report adds that Premier League chiefs could force Tottenham to play the remainder of their home games this season at Wembley even if the stadium is ready later on in the campaign.
Tottenham are expected to make another statement next week and it will be interesting to see if any news is provided regarding when we can move into our new home.

The stadium was expected to be opened in September, however, there have been constant delays. Spurs also have to host a couple of test events and hopefully, we get to inaugurate the stadium sooner than later.
