Mauricio Pochettino has dashed any hopes of Tottenham signing a player before the end of the transfer window. Spurs were the only side not to bring new faces in the summer, and have sold Mousa Dembele in the winter window.
Sky Sports claims that Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Vincent Janssen are expected to leave the club in the winter window, however, Pochettino was unsure about the outgoings at Tottenham (h/t Sky Sports):
“No, I don’t know anything. I am going to talk now with my chief scout Steve Hitchen, I am going to ask for some news.
“I expect that maybe some players are going to leave but I do not expect that we are going to add to the squad. I am going to talk because I want some news, but not because I am expecting to sign a player.”
This will come as a bit of a blow to Spurs given that two of our main players, Harry Kane and Dele Alli, are out until March. Their void has somewhat been filled by Son Heung-min, and the South Korean scored the equaliser in our win over Watford.
Tottenham could do with a quality striker coming in, however, Fernando Llorente now has two goals in two games. The Spaniard scored the winner over Watford, and it will be interesting to see how Spurs do without any fresh faces once again.

We have a real chance of finishing above City, and if we stay close to them until March, Kane and Alli should fire us above the Cityzens easily.
