Latest Tottenham news: Mauricio Pochettino will give players a break after Champions League tie
Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that the Tottenham players will go off on a little break after their Champions League first-leg tie against Borussia Dortmund.
Spurs play Burnley 10 later and the manager was asked if he was going to hand his players some time off after the Dortmund clash (h/t Football.london):
“Yes, of course, we are going to be first to have a few days to rest and to recover,” he said.
Tough fixtures await Spurs
The weekend features FA Cup games, hence, Tottenham have a break from the hectic schedule of games. The boys certainly deserve a big rest after an incredible night of Champions League football.
It was an outstanding win and an amazing performance that deserves full credits. The effort was there to be seen and the difference seemed to be Pochettino, who got it all right on a big night.

After the Burnley game, Spurs play Chelsea (away) and Arsenal (home) in the span of four days. We play Dortmund after that and face Liverpool at Anfield in the last week of March.
It’s going to be a tough ride for us but if the team can reproduce what they did tonight, there’s no doubt that we can end the season on a high.
