Latest Tottenham news: Son Heung-min to be handed new deal worth up to £150,000-a-week
The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham forward Son Heung-min will be handed an improved contract within just 12 months after signing a new deal.
The South Korean forward signed a new deal with the club in July, however, the Spurs management want to hand him an improved contract before the start of next season.
The report adds that talks are scheduled for the summer, and Son currently earns around £110,000-per-week. The new deal is expected to take him closer to Dele Alli’s wages, which is around £150,000-per-week.
Son has been exceptional for Spurs this season despite participating in three international tournaments. The South Korean was great in the World Cup and the Asian Games, however, an early Asian Cup exit was the only blot for the national side.
That hasn’t affected Son, who has been great since his return from the UAE.

The South Korean is one of the best players in the team, and it would be a great move to tie him down to another deal as quickly as possible.
