Latest Tottenham news: Jarrod Bowen wants Premier League football with Hull City
Hull City youngster Jarrod Bowen has been linked with a move to Tottenham (h/t Yorkshire Post), however, the 22-year-old isn’t letting this distract him from the job at hand.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has 16 goals and three assists from 32 Championship appearances as the Tigers look to make a late run for the play-off spots.
The Englishman told the Yorkshire Post that his agent will deal with any speculation and that he only wants to concentrate on football:
“With all the talk, my agent does not even tell me because they do not want my mind off football, they want me to play my game and show how good I am.”
Bowen added that getting caught up with all this can affect his performances on the pitch.
Flattered regarding Premier League interest
The Tigers face a tough fight to make a return to the Premier League but Bowen wants to get them back into the top division.
The 22-year-old was flattered to be linked with clubs like Spurs, however, he isn’t going to talk about those links any time soon:
“When you see your name with these Premier League clubs, that is where everyone wants to play, but my loyalties lie with Hull City, so I cannot say anything about those teams as it is just talk.”
Spurs didn’t sign any players in the past two transfer windows, and it will be interesting to see which players we target once the season ends.
Bowen seems to be one of the best young players coming through in the Championship and could be a decent signing under Mauricio Pochettino.

The manager has worked wonders with young players at Tottenham, and Bowen could very well benefit by joining Spurs in the summer.
